Entry requirements: Learners should previously attained a level 3 qualification as well as Maths and English.
Course information: This course is designed to help students develop their knowledge and understanding of business structure and organisations and their key elements. Our qualified and highly experienced tutors specialise in finance and accounting, marketing, economics, law and more and will support you through your studies and in choosing a specialist route to pursue.
Units/topics covered:
The wide range of contemporary business topics covered will enhance their progression to university and employment. You will also gain exposure to business organisations through external visits, guest speakers and attending business exhibitions. Units include; Personal & Business Finance, Principles of Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Law and more.
How is it taught?
Flexible learning options via online and/or classroom lectures with full time tutors are on hand throughout the course to support students who are in turn expected to complete 8-10 hours classroom learning with some self-directed distant study. On site students will learn in a professional and clean environment with access to IT-based equipment, a games lounge, canteen, library and study room.
How will it be assessed?
You will be assessed using a variety of methods including coursework, observations, portfolios, presentations and external assessments.
