Entry requirements: Learners should previously attained a level 3 qualification as well as Maths and English.
Course information: This course is designed to help students develop their knowledge and understanding of business structure and organisations and their key elements. Our qualified and highly experienced tutors specialise in finance and accounting, marketing, economics, law and more and will support you through your studies and in choosing a specialist route to pursue.
Units/topics covered:
The wide range of contemporary business topics covered will enhance their progression to university and employment. You will also gain exposure to business organisations through external visits, guest speakers and attending business exhibitions. Units include; Personal & Business Finance, Principles of Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Law and more.
How is it taught?
Flexible learning options available with full time tutors on hand throughout the course. Students are required to complete 8 hours of classroom learning with additional self-directed distant study necessary.
How will it be assessed?
You will be assessed using a variety of methods including coursework, observations, portfolios, presentations and external assessments.
Progression
A direct pathway to progress onto the final year of a bachelors degree at University and/or enter employment.
